How It Works

It takes a single E27 LED bulb (up to 20W) and is fully dimmable with dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer. Class I electrical wiring means an earth connection is required during installation. IP20 protection is good for dry indoor spaces but rules out bathrooms and anywhere humid.

Where It Works Best

Hallways and corridors are the obvious choices, but polished nickel works just as well in contemporary kitchens, studies and bedrooms where you want modern metalwork. The cool tone won't clash with silver, chrome or stainless steel fixtures already in the space.

Will polished nickel show fingerprints?
Like any polished metal, it can show dust and the occasional fingerprint, but normal ceiling fittings don't get handled much so it stays cleaner than wall plates would.

Does this work with colour changing bulbs?
Yes. You can use any E27 LED bulb up to 20W, including colour changing ones if you want the option to adjust tone. Just make sure they're dimmable if you want to use your dimmer.

What sort of room suits nickel best?
Contemporary kitchens, studies, and bedrooms with cool colour schemes. It works in hallways anywhere, but the cool tone reads more obviously in traditional or warm interiors.
