Because white cardboard scorches under a laser, this 46cm shade is knife cut by hand rather than laser cut, then assembled and bonded with the same non-toxic adhesive and fire retardant used across the Scraplights range. The result still glows amber at its core and casts the same intricate shadow patterns, just wrapped in a crisper shell. Standing on its own base beside a sofa or desk, it suits minimalist, Scandinavian or boutique hotel style interiors that favour light, uncluttered surfaces.
