Its 46cm shade is built from reclaimed corrugated cardboard, laser cut into interlocking layers and hand assembled by Graypants' craftspeople, then bonded with non-toxic adhesive and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant. Left in its natural kraft tone, the cardboard filters light into a warm amber glow and throws intricate, organic shadow patterns across walls and ceiling as it warms up. Because each shade is pieced together by hand, no two are quite identical. At home in Scandinavian, Japandi or organic modern living rooms and studies, it brings sculptural warmth without demanding attention.
