Graypants Scraplights Disc 20 Pendant - Natural - 50cm Diameter

Step up in scale to the Disc 20 and you get a pendant substantial enough to anchor a dining table, entryway or hotel lobby without ever feeling heavy or ornate. Like every Scraplights shade, it begins as sheets of reclaimed corrugated cardboard, laser cut into rings, hand assembled and bonded with non-toxic adhesive, then treated with a non-toxic fire retardant before it ever reaches your ceiling. At 50cm across, the wider disc lets more warm, amber light spill through the gaps between layers, so the shadow pattern it throws across a room is broader and more dramatic than its smaller sibling. Because each shade is built by hand, slight irregularities in the cardboard rings are part of its character. It suits contemporary, Japandi and biophilic schemes particularly well, and reads confidently in commercial and hospitality spaces too.
