The Chrona Dish 17h turns a solid brass disc into an overhead ring of light rather than a downward beam. Hung flat rather than on edge, it is the largest of the three Dish sizes in Graypants' Chrona range, at 42cm in diameter, so the glow it casts across a ceiling has real presence. The disc is machined brass, lit from behind by a diffused LED, giving an even, warm halo when viewed from below rather than a visible bulb.

Machined Brass, Read From Below

This is the Brass finish, a warm gold tone with a subtle circular brushed texture across the face of the disc. Hung horizontally, that texture and the disc's full circular face become the main thing you see when you look up at it, rather than the thin brushed edge you get on the vertical version. The dish hangs from a black fabric cord and a black powder coated canopy, so the warm brass reads as a single confident accent against dark, understated hardware. It suits interiors built around walnut, black metal or other warm materials, and works best as one statement fitting rather than as part of a mixed metal scheme.

How It Works

An integrated 22W LED sits inside the dish, diffused through an acrylic panel so the light reads as a soft, even glow across the disc rather than a visible source. It runs at a warm 2700K and puts out 500 lumens, and it is dimmable, so it can be brought down for evening use with a compatible dimmer switch. It is a hardwired pendant, suspended on a 2m black fabric cord from a black powder coated ceiling canopy measuring 4cm high and 13cm in diameter. A 5m cord is available on request.
