Glammfire Zarzuela Outdoor Fire Pit

A sculptural centrepiece for outdoor living

The GlammFire Zarzuela Outdoor Fire Pit combines contemporary architectural design with the inviting atmosphere of an open flame. Defined by its substantial circular cement body and clean, sculptural proportions, the Zarzuela creates a natural gathering point for gardens, terraces and outdoor entertaining areas. Available with a choice of firewood or bioethanol burners, it offers the flexibility to enjoy either a traditional wood fire or the convenience of a cleaner-burning flame.

Designed for gathering

The Zarzuela is more than a conventional outdoor fire pit. Its broad circular structure creates a striking architectural feature, while the generous surrounding surface gives it the character of a low outdoor table.

Optional curved benches in lacquered carbon steel can be positioned around the fire pit, creating a coordinated seating arrangement that encourages conversation and relaxation. The contrast between the solid cement body, refined steel detailing and natural movement of the flames makes the Zarzuela particularly suited to contemporary garden designs.

Choose your preferred fuel type

The GlammFire Zarzuela is available with three different combustion options, allowing you to choose between the traditional atmosphere of burning wood and the convenience of bioethanol.

Firewood
For those who enjoy the unmistakable character of a traditional open fire, the firewood version offers natural flames, radiant warmth and the gentle crackle of burning logs. Manually lit and suitable for firewood, this option requires no gas or electrical connection. An ash vacuum cleaner, protective cover and barbecue mitt are included.

Standard Burner – Manual Bioethanol
The Standard Burner offers a simpler alternative to burning wood, producing real flames without smoke, wood ash or embers. With a 2-litre fuel capacity and approximately 2.7kW heat output, this bioethanol burner provides an attractive flame without requiring a chimney, flue or gas connection. A high-temperature-resistant glass surround is included, with additional glass protection available as an option.

Crea7ionEVOplus Fire Round – Automatic Bioethanol
For a more advanced experience, the Crea7ionEVOplus Fire Round features electronic ignition and remote-controlled operation. Its larger 10-litre bioethanol capacity and approximately 4kW heat output offer a convenient way to enjoy real flames without manually lighting the burner. This premium option is particularly suited to contemporary outdoor living spaces where ease of operation is a priority.

Where it works best

At Moonlight Design, we particularly like the Zarzuela for larger gardens and architectural outdoor spaces where the fire pit can become an integral part of the overall landscape design. Its minimalist cement finish works beautifully alongside porcelain paving, natural stone, gravel and structured planting.

Whether positioned within a dedicated garden seating area, on a spacious terrace or as a feature within a hotel or restaurant courtyard, the Zarzuela creates an inviting setting for enjoying evenings outdoors. The optional coordinating benches make it especially effective for outdoor entertaining.

Handcrafted in Portugal

GlammFire designs and manufactures its luxury fireplaces and fire features in Monção, Portugal, where the brand has been producing contemporary fire designs since 2008. Combining specialist craftsmanship with carefully selected materials, the company creates distinctive architectural features for residential and commercial spaces.

The Zarzuela reflects this design philosophy through its substantial cement construction, carefully proportioned circular form and choice of combustion systems.

Questions People Ask

What fuel options are available for the GlammFire Zarzuela?
The Zarzuela is available with three burner configurations: traditional firewood, a manual Standard Bioethanol Burner, or the automatic Crea7ionEVOplus Fire Round bioethanol burner. Each option provides a different experience, from a traditional wood fire to convenient remote-controlled flames.

What is the difference between the two bioethanol burners?
The Standard Burner is a simpler manual option with a 2-litre fuel capacity and approximately 2.7kW output. The Crea7ionEVOplus is an automatic burner with remote-controlled ignition, a larger 10-litre fuel capacity and approximately 4kW output.

Does the Zarzuela need a chimney or flue?
The bioethanol versions do not require a chimney or flue, although they must still be installed in an appropriately ventilated location. The firewood version produces smoke and embers and must be positioned with suitable clearances in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Are the curved benches included?
No. The coordinating lacquered carbon steel benches are optional accessories and can be ordered separately to create a complete outdoor seating arrangement around the fire pit.

Can the Zarzuela be used as an outdoor table?
The Zarzuela's broad cement surround provides a substantial architectural surface around the central fire. However, it is primarily designed as a fire pit, and the surrounding structure may become hot during use. Always follow GlammFire's safety guidance and avoid placing heat-sensitive objects close to the flames.

How heavy is the Zarzuela?
The cement fire pit body weighs approximately 600kg, making it a substantial, permanent-style garden feature. Its final location should be carefully planned, with a suitable load-bearing surface and appropriate arrangements for delivery and installation.

Is the Zarzuela suitable for commercial outdoor spaces?
Its architectural design makes the Zarzuela an attractive option for hotel terraces, restaurant courtyards and other outdoor hospitality settings. However, suitability for commercial use should be assessed against the chosen burner, site conditions and applicable fire safety requirements.
