The Contour is GlammFire's study in restraint, a circular fire pit built around clean lines and a single, calm colour rather than an elaborate silhouette. Where some of GlammFire's designs are meant to be a conversation piece, the Contour is meant to sit quietly at the centre of a room and let the flame do the talking.

Minimalism with real fire

The Contour's simplicity is deliberate. A monochromatic, black lacquered steel body wraps a circular automatic bioethanol burner from GlammFire's Crea7ionEVOPlus range, so the fire appears as a clean ring of flame rather than a fire contained in a busy or ornamented structure. It is designed to complement a room rather than dominate it, which makes it a natural fit for interiors built around simplicity and calm.

How it works

The Crea7ionEVOPlus burner inside the Contour operates automatically, managing ignition and fuel intake without the need to light or top up the burner by hand. Because it runs on clean burning liquid bioethanol, the Contour needs no chimney, flue or gas connection, only a properly ventilated room or outdoor space, which gives it far more flexibility in where it can be placed than a wood burning or gas fire pit.

Handcrafted in Portugal

GlammFire designs and builds the Contour by hand at its factory in Monção, Portugal, where the brand has manufactured luxury fireplaces since 2008. GlammFire states that every unit is tested and quality checked before it leaves the factory as part of a manufacturing process it says is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

What ventilation does the Contour need?
As with any bioethanol fire, the Contour should only be used in an open or well ventilated space. It needs no chimney or flue, but fresh air flow is still required.
