Glammfire Burner V - Manual Bioethanol Burner - Stainless Steel

Burner V is the largest of GlammFire's manual bioethanol burner inserts, built for substantial fireplace projects where a strong, sustained flame is the priority.

Specification

Burner V holds up to 10 litres of liquid bioethanol, giving an output of around 8.5 kW and an autonomy of roughly 10 hours per fill, considerably more than the smaller burners in GlammFire's range. GlammFire recommends a minimum room size of around 55 square metres, reflecting both its heat output and the scale of flame it produces.

How it works

As a manual burner, Burner V is lit and its flame adjusted by hand rather than through an automated system, which keeps the mechanism simple for a burner of this size. Bioethanol combustion produces a genuine, substantial flame without smoke, ash or soot, and needs no chimney or flue, only a large, properly ventilated space.

Where it works best

Burner V is built for large open plan living spaces, grand fireplace surrounds, hospitality interiors and architectural feature walls where a bold, high output flame is the goal. It is typically specified by architects and interior designers working on larger scale bespoke fireplace installations rather than compact residential projects.

Handcrafted in Portugal

GlammFire builds Burner V by hand at its factory in Monção, Portugal, where the brand has manufactured luxury fireplaces since 2008. GlammFire states that every burner is tested and quality checked before it leaves the factory as part of a manufacturing process it says is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
