The lamp is dimmable, though you will need a GU10 LED bulb specifically sold as dimmable together with a compatible dimmer switch or plug, a standard bulb and switch combination will not give you that control. It is built to Class II standards, so no earth connection is needed, and it carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is designed for dry indoor rooms only.
