The Upton pendant in skinny ribbed glass is a straightforward teardrop shade with fine ribbing that catches the light from every angle. It is one of Fritz Fryer's most versatile shades, equally at home on its own or grouped together.

Choosing Your Finish

Antique Brass brings a warm, lived in tone to the fitting. Nickel is clean and cool, suited to a more contemporary kitchen. Bronze is the darkest choice, almost black, and works well where you want the metalwork to recede. Polished Brass is bright and glossy, and makes more of a statement on its own.

How It Works

This large Upton pendant takes one E27 bulb, up to 8W LED, not supplied, and is dimmable. It comes with a 1 metre black twist flex and a 6.5cm ceiling plate as standard.

Made By Fritz Fryer

Fritz Fryer has been making lights since 1982, starting out in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire restoring antique fittings from the UK and Europe. The glass shades, Upton included, are still hand blown today, and the metalwork is still hand coloured, so no two fittings come out completely identical. Small details, like a faint bubble in the glass, are a normal part of that process. Upton is named after a Herefordshire village, in keeping with the way the brand names most of its shades.

No. It is made to order in the finish you choose, so it is not returnable once ordered.

Why might the ribbing or colour vary slightly from the photos?
The glass is hand blown and the metal is hand coloured, so small variations between individual pieces are normal and expected rather than a fault.
