This large Upton wall light uses the same tapered ribbed glass as its pendant cousins, mounted on a curved wall arm that can face up or down. The ribbing breaks up the light a little more than plain glass, giving a softer glow along the wall or ceiling depending on which way you fit it.

Choosing a Finish

Whichever metal finish you choose, the ribbed glass shade doesn't change. Antique brass and polished brass are the two warmer options, with polished brass noticeably brighter and more reflective. Nickel is cool and contemporary, while bronze sits darkest of the four, nearer a deep gunmetal than a traditional bronze tone. As each fitting is hand coloured, expect small differences from one to the next.

How It Works

It runs on a single E27 bulb, up to 8W LED, not supplied, and is dimmable with a compatible dimmer and bulb. It mounts on a 9cm wall base, with the arm running the wiring through to the shade.

Where It Works Best

At 380mm tall, 150mm wide and projecting 168mm, it's a good scale for a hallway run, either side of a bed, or either side of a fireplace. It suits a bedroom, dining room, living room, hallway or kitchen.
