This large clear Upton shade comes in four metal finishes. Antique brass adds warmth and suits period style kitchens, nickel is the most neutral and contemporary option, bronze brings a darker, more grounded look, and polished brass is the shiniest and most attention grabbing of the four.

How It Works

Takes one E27 LED bulb up to 8W (not supplied) and is dimmable with a compatible bulb and dimmer. It comes on a 1m black twist flex with a 6.5cm ceiling plate so you can set the height.

Made By Fritz Fryer

Since 1982, Fritz Fryer has worked out of Ross on Wye in Herefordshire, having started by restoring antique lights from the UK and Europe before making its own ranges. The clear glass shades are hand blown there today, and the metal fittings hand coloured, so small differences between individual pieces, like a faint bubble in the glass, are a normal part of the process rather than a defect. Upton, like the brand's other shade names, comes from a place near the workshop in Herefordshire.
