Flambeau Trellis Single Floor Lamp - Putty Patina & Silver Leaf

A tall sculptural floor lamp inspired by winter branches

The Trellis floor lamp takes the same twisted, branch like form as the rest of the range and stretches it to floor standing height, with a hand painted putty patina base and stem topped by a silver leaf orb element. A hand painted cylinder shade sits above, diffusing the light rather than putting the fitting itself fully on show.

Putty patina and silver leaf finish

The putty patina finish is hand painted onto the base and stem for a soft, variegated tone rather than a flat colour, while the silver leaf orb brings a contrasting metallic detail near the top of the piece. It's a muted, organic combination that reads well against neutral walls or alongside natural materials like wood and stone.

How it works

This is a freestanding floor lamp, so there's no wiring involved beyond plugging it in wherever you'd like it positioned. It doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order.

Where it works best

Its height and sculptural stem make it well suited to filling an empty corner, standing beside a sofa or armchair, or adding a vertical accent next to a bookcase in a living room or study. It's an indoor lamp throughout.

The story behind Flambeau

Flambeau takes its name from a brand Joe McKearn built in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2000, founded entirely around the work of one designer, Paul Gruer, whose sculptural lamps, chandeliers and sconces had already made a name for themselves among galleries and interior designers in New Orleans. Since then, Gruer and the designers who followed him have kept creating pieces, like this branch inspired Trellis floor lamp, that stand out as statement pieces rather than blending into the background. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK, adapting them for 220 to 240V wiring and CE certification.
