A compact sculptural wall light in antiqued bone white
The Swirl small wall light shares the same cast resin, swirling motif as the rest of the range, scaled down and finished in an antiqued bone white. A rectangular linen shade sits above the sculpted resin form, softening the light rather than exposing the shape directly.
Bone white finish
The antiqued bone white finish gives the resin motif a soft, chalky texture, well suited to pared back interiors or walls with more architectural detail. It works as comfortably in a residential hallway as it does in a hotel or restaurant setting looking for a textural, considered accent.
How it works
This is a single light wall fitting. It doesn't come supplied with a bulb, so you'll need to source one separately. We'd recommend having it fitted by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
Being the smaller of the two Swirl wall lights, it suits tighter spots where the larger version wouldn't sit comfortably, either side of a mirror, a narrower hallway, or spaced along a run of wall on a landing or corridor. It's an indoor fitting throughout.
The story behind Flambeau
It took two chance meetings in the same airport shuttle for Flambeau to reach Britain. Louisiana businessman Joe McKearn, who had founded Flambeau in Baton Rouge in 2000 around the sculptural designs of Paul Gruer, got talking to Jonathan Lucas, managing director of British manufacturer Elstead Lighting, on a shuttle to the Dallas Market Center in 2011. Six months later, the two crossed paths again in the same shuttle, and the conversation that followed led to Elstead manufacturing Flambeau's designs under licence from 2012, bringing pieces like this small Swirl wall light to the UK on 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
