A six light chandelier inspired by an olive tree in full branch
The Sweet Olive 6 light chandelier scales the same olive branch inspired design up into a full ceiling fitting, with leaf accents and candle like fixtures spread across six arms in a hand patinated Gilded Gold finish. A crystal medallion at the centre catches the light and adds a bit of sparkle among the branches.
Gilded Gold finish
Because the Gilded Gold finish is applied by hand, no two branches read quite the same, giving the chandelier a more natural, less mass produced feel than a flat gold paint would. It works well in a room that wants a proper focal point overhead rather than purely functional lighting.
How it works
This is a six light ceiling fitting, with six candle style bulb holders across the branches. Bulbs aren't included, so you'll need six to fit it out fully. Given the number of arms and the ceiling fixing involved, we'd strongly recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles installation.
Where it works best
Its scale and branch like spread make it best suited to a room with some height and space around it, a dining room, entrance hall or a living room with a high ceiling, somewhere it can be seen from a distance as well as up close. It's designed for indoor use only.
The story behind Flambeau
Since 2000, Paul Gruer and the other designers working under the Flambeau name have built a reputation for lamps, chandeliers, pendants and sconces that read as genuine statement pieces rather than background lighting, a reputation this six arm Sweet Olive chandelier fits comfortably into. The brand itself was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by Joe McKearn, and in 2012 Elstead Lighting began manufacturing Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK, Europe and Middle East, adapting them to 220 to 240V wiring and CE certification.
