Flambeau South Beach Single Table Lamp - Black & Cream

A striped table lamp inspired by Miami's beachfront

The South Beach table lamp brings designer Paul Gruer's beach inspired styling to a tabletop scale, with a black and cream striped stem topped by a matching shade and a gold leaf orb, finished off with a further gold leaf element for detail. It's a smaller scale way to bring the same coastal character as the range's floor lamp and pendant into a room.

The black and cream stripes run the length of the stem and continue onto the shade, giving the piece a crisp, graphic rhythm, while the gold leaf orb and accompanying gold leaf element add warmth and a decorative finishing touch.

How it works

This is a freestanding table lamp, so there's no wiring involved, simply position it and connect it to a socket. It doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order.

Where it works best

Its compact, striped form suits a console table, sideboard or bedside table, anywhere it can be appreciated at close range as a decorative accent alongside the light itself. It's an indoor lamp throughout.

The story behind Flambeau

Since Flambeau launched in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2000, Paul Gruer and the designers who followed him have created lamps, chandeliers, pendants, sconces and accessories, like this South Beach table lamp, that are designed to be noticed rather than blend into the background. Joe McKearn, the New Orleans businessman behind the brand, first licensed Gruer's work after seeing it in a friend's studio in late 1999. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK, Europe and Middle East, adapting them for 220 to 240V wiring and CE certification.
