Flambeau Pompadour X Single Table Lamp

Pompadour X takes its name from its finial, moulded in a shape inspired by the pompadour, and sits on moulded duck feet that support a square silver leaf base. Above, a cream and silver leaf cylinder shade continues the pairing of the two tones.

Cream and silver leaf finish

Silver leaf runs through the base and into the shade, paired with a soft cream that keeps the overall look light rather than heavy. It's a finish that works in a room already built around pale, neutral tones, and it doesn't compete with a bolder colour scheme elsewhere in the space.

How it works

This is a single light table lamp, and it doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. It's plug in only, no wiring or installation needed.

Where it works best

The moulded duck feet and pompadour finial reward a closer look, so it suits a bedside table or a console where it can be seen up close, as well as a pair either side of a sofa or bed. It's designed for indoor use throughout.

The story behind Flambeau

Since Flambeau launched in 2000, designer Paul Gruer and the wider Flambeau team have built a reputation for lamps, chandeliers, pendants and sconces that tend to become the statement piece in whatever room they sit in, rather than blending into the background. Gruer himself started out as a fine jewellery designer in New Orleans before Baton Rouge businessman Joe McKearn licensed his work under the Flambeau name. Pieces like Pompadour X, with its sculpted feet and finial, are a good example of that same instinct for a memorable detail. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has brought the range to the UK under licence, adapted for 220 to 240V wiring and CE certified.
