A pared back table lamp finished entirely in bone white

Petra keeps things simple, with a base and sculptural element both cast in resin and steel and finished in a single bone white tone. A distressed bone white parchment shade continues that same palette through to the top of the lamp, so the whole piece reads as one soft, muted design rather than base and shade competing for attention.

Because base, element and shade are all worked in the same bone white, Petra leans quiet and neutral rather than being a statement in colour or metal finish. The distressing on the parchment shade adds some texture without breaking from that pale, chalky palette.

How it works

This is a single light table lamp, and it doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to source one separately. If you're not confident fitting it yourself, it's worth having a qualified electrician take a look.

Where it works best

Its neutral, all white palette makes it easy to place almost anywhere that calls for a table lamp, a bedside table, a living room console or a study desk, particularly in a room already working with pale, natural tones. It's designed for indoor use.

The story behind Flambeau

Flambeau's designs have been manufactured under licence by British lighting company Elstead Lighting since 2012, bringing pieces conceived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to the UK, European and Middle East markets on 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification. The brand itself dates back to 2000, when Joe McKearn began working with designer Paul Gruer, and quieter, more pared back pieces like Petra sit alongside the more sculptural, ornate designs elsewhere in the range.
