A striped pedestal lamp finished with a sculpted peony blossom
Peony rises from silver leaf ball feet to a square, tapered pedestal base striped in taupe and black. Partway up, a sculpted peony blossom sits on a silver stem, below an inverted shade that repeats the black and taupe stripe, and a gold peony finial finishes the top.

The taupe and black stripe runs through both the base and the shade, giving Peony a tailored, graphic quality, while the silver leaf feet and stem and the gold finial add two further metallic notes. It suits an interior already working with darker, more tonal colours rather than a pale, all neutral scheme.
How it works
Peony is a single light table lamp, and it doesn't come with a bulb, so add one to your order before it's ready. There's no wiring involved, it simply plugs in.
Where it works best
The stripe and sculpted blossom detail make it a natural fit for a bedside table, a console, or either side of a fireplace where its pattern has room to be noticed. It's suited to indoor rooms throughout.
The story behind Flambeau
Two companies sit behind the Flambeau name today, Lucas + McKearn, formed in 2017 to bring Flambeau and Elstead's designs to the US market on 110V wiring, and Elstead Lighting, which has manufactured Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK, Europe and Middle East since 2012, built to 220 to 240V and CE certified. Both trace back to Flambeau's founding in 2000, when Louisiana businessman Joe McKearn licensed the sculptural lamp designs of Paul Gruer, a former jewellery designer working out of New Orleans. Peony, with its striped pedestal and sculpted blossom, belongs to that same tradition of a considered, decorative statement piece.
