A square striped base with a sculpted palm inspired stem
Noma Luxe sits on a gold and black striped square base, raised on small, round silver leaf feet. The metal stem carries a sculpted palm inspired element partway up, finished with a ball finial, and a glazed gold leaf shade sits on top.
Gold, black and silver leaf finish
The base pairs gold and black stripes, the feet are silver leaf, and the shade is glazed gold leaf, so three finishes sit across the one piece without competing for attention. The palm inspired detail on the stem adds a botanical note that suits a room already leaning toward warmer, tropical or Art Deco inspired decor.
How it works
Noma Luxe is a single light table lamp. It doesn't come with a bulb, so add one to your order, and as a table lamp there's nothing to install, just plug it in.
Where it works best
The palm inspired stem and glazed shade make it suited to a living room console, a bedside table, or an entrance table where the sculpted detail catches the eye at a glance. It's intended for indoor rooms only.
The story behind Flambeau
Since 2012, British manufacturer Elstead Lighting has produced Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK, Europe and Middle East markets, building them to 220 to 240V specifications with full CE certification, Noma Luxe among them. The arrangement began after Elstead's managing director Jonathan Lucas met Flambeau founder Joe McKearn on an airport shuttle to the Dallas Market Center in 2011. Flambeau itself dates back further, to 2000, when McKearn licensed the sculptural lamp and chandelier designs of New Orleans based Paul Gruer, a former fine jewellery designer, under the Flambeau name.
