Madison's base takes a pyramid shape, finished in a putty patina, and supports a sculpted element adorned with crystal clusters partway up the lamp. A shade in the same putty patina finish sits on top, keeping the overall look cohesive from base to shade.

The putty patina gives Madison a soft, muted base tone, somewhere between grey and taupe, while the crystal clusters catch the light for a bit of sparkle against the matte finish. It suits a room working with warm neutrals, and the crystal detail gives it a slightly more dressed up feel than a plain patterned lamp.

How it works

This is a single light table lamp, and it doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. As with any table lamp, there's no installation required, just plug it in wherever it's needed.

Where it works best

Its pyramid base and crystal detail suit a bedside table, a dressing table, or a console in a bedroom or living room that could use a bit of sparkle without going for anything too ornate. It's an indoor lamp throughout.

The story behind Flambeau

For over two decades now, Flambeau has kept designer Paul Gruer's original vision going, lamps, chandeliers, pendants, sconces and accessories that read as a genuine design statement in the homes and interiors they end up in. The brand began in Baton Rouge in 2000, after founder Joe McKearn licensed Gruer's work, and it's since grown to include manufacturing in the UK through Elstead Lighting from 2012 and the Lucas + McKearn partnership serving the US market from 2017. Madison, with its sculpted crystal detail and patina finish, is a recent example of that same ongoing design output.
