Jackson takes the classic form of an urn and renders it in cast resin and steel, finished in antiqued silver with gold accents picking out details across the surface. A Distressed Gold painted parchment shade sits on top, tying the gold accents on the base into the shade above.

Antiqued silver and gold finish

The antiquing on the silver gives the urn shape an aged, slightly weathered character rather than a bright, new finish, while the gold accents add contrast and catch the light. It's a combination that suits interiors already mixing metals, rather than sticking to one tone throughout.

How it works

This is a single light table lamp. It doesn't include a bulb, so you'll want to add one when you order. We'd always suggest getting a qualified electrician involved if you're at all unsure about installation.

Where it works best

The urn shape and traditional detailing suit classic or transitional interiors particularly well, a hallway console, a living room side table or either end of a mantelpiece. It's an indoor fitting throughout.

The story behind Flambeau

Joe McKearn and Jonathan Lucas, managing director of British manufacturer Elstead Lighting, first got talking during a shared airport shuttle to the Dallas Market Center in 2011, then ran into one another again in a shuttle at the same airport six months later. That second meeting helped set in motion Elstead's 2012 licence to manufacture Flambeau's designs, founded a decade earlier by McKearn around the work of designer Paul Gruer, for the UK, Europe and Middle East, adapted to 220 to 240V wiring and CE certified, a process that brought urn shaped designs like Jackson across the Atlantic.
