A pendant named after the torch carriers of Mardi Gras
This two light pendant takes its name directly from the Flambeau brand itself, and behind that name are the flambeaux, the torch carriers who dance and lead the way through Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans. The pendant carries black and cream stripes through its design, with gold and silver leaf elements picking out the detail.

The black and cream stripe gives the pendant a bold, graphic look overhead, while the gold and silver leaf elements add a warmer, more decorative note against it. It suits a room that can take a striking overhead feature rather than something that fades into the ceiling.
How it works
This is a two light pendant, so it takes two bulbs, and neither is included, so you'll need to add them to your order. As it's a ceiling mounted fitting, we'd always recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation and wiring.
Where it works best
With two lights and a bold stripe, it suits a spot where it'll be seen from below and around, over a kitchen island, above a dining table, or centred in a hallway or entrance with enough ceiling height to let it hang properly. It's an indoor fitting throughout.
The story behind Flambeau
Of all the pieces in the Flambeau range, this pendant carries the brand's story most directly in its name. Flambeaux are the flame and torch bearers who lead the parades through Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and it was in that same city, in late 1999, that local businessman Joe McKearn first saw the work of designer Paul Gruer and decided to license it under the Flambeau name the following year. The black and cream stripes and gold and silver leaf elements here nod to that New Orleans heritage directly, in a way most of the range only carries by association. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK, this pendant included, adapted to 220 to 240V wiring and CE certified.
