The Remy single wall light takes the same French Arts and Crafts influenced circle detailing as the rest of the collection and adapts it to a wall mounted fitting, throwing light out from a fixed point rather than down from the ceiling.

Heritage Bronze and Parisienne Gold

The wall light shares its finish with the rest of the family, a Heritage Bronze body with the circular motif in Parisienne Gold, and a Bronze Organza shade over the light source to soften the glow against the wall. It reads as a smaller, quieter version of the collection's signature look, well suited to being used in a pair either side of a doorway or mirror.

How it works

This is a single light wall fitting, and the bulb isn't included, so you'll need to add one to your order. We'd recommend a qualified electrician for the installation, particularly if you're wiring in a wall switch or dimmer alongside it.

Where it works best

Hallways, landings and either side of a bed or mirror are all natural homes for the Remy wall light, especially where you want a softer wash of light rather than a central pendant. It's an indoor fitting throughout, so it's suited to living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.

The story behind Feiss

Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, converting each collection to run on 220 to 240V current, with the brand's design heritage now sitting within Visual Comfort & Co. Feiss itself was founded much earlier, in 1955, when Murray Feiss set up a small lighting business in the South Bronx around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases, each shade hand sewn by his mother Rose. Three generations of family stewardship grew that small start into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its output taking in chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Remy's decorative circle motif and hand made iron construction come directly from the French Arts and Crafts movement, adapted here into a wall mounted form.
