A single drop with a French Arts and Crafts influence
The Remy single pendant takes its cue from the French Arts and Crafts movement, built around a decorative metal circle that sits at the centre of the design like a piece of jewellery. It hangs on a single drop, making it a natural choice wherever you want one clear point of light and interest rather than a cluster of fittings.
Heritage Bronze and Parisienne Gold
The main body of the fitting is painted in a warm Heritage Bronze, while the circular motif is picked out in Parisienne Gold, giving the design a bit of contrast and shine without it ever feeling showy. A Bronze Organza shade wraps the light source, softening the glow and adding a subtle texture to the fitting itself, rather than leaving a bare bulb on show.
How it works
This is a single light pendant, so you'll need one bulb, which isn't included, so you'll need to add one to your order. As with all our hanging fittings, we'd recommend a qualified electrician for the wiring in, particularly if it's being hung from a higher ceiling or alongside other fittings.

The story behind Feiss
Feiss dates back to 1955 and Murray Feiss's small South Bronx business, built around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases and shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose. Over three generations, the family run operation became one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its catalogue spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and its heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe, adapting designs such as this Remy pendant to 220 to 240V electrics. Remy takes its decorative circle motif and hand made iron construction directly from the French Arts and Crafts scene, adapted here to a single drop design.
