The Remy single mini pendant scales the collection's French Arts and Crafts influenced circle motif down to a size that works well hung in multiples, most often in a row over a kitchen island or breakfast bar. Each one hangs from its own drop, so you can space a run of them out however suits the room.

Heritage Bronze and Parisienne Gold

Despite the smaller size, the finish is identical to the rest of the family: a Heritage Bronze body with the circular detail in Parisienne Gold, and a Bronze Organza shade softening each light. Grouped together, the repeated circles create a rhythm along a run of worktop that a single larger fitting wouldn't give you.

How it works

Each mini pendant takes one bulb, not included, so plan for one per fitting, plus however many you're hanging in the run. As with any multi drop installation, we'd recommend a qualified electrician handles the wiring in, especially when spacing several across an island.

Where it works best

This is a kitchen island light first and foremost, hung in a row over an island or breakfast bar, though a single one also works well over a small table. It's an indoor fitting throughout, so it belongs in kitchens and dining spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.

The story behind Feiss

Remy's decorative circle motif and hand made iron construction come straight from the French Arts and Crafts movement, scaled down here into a mini pendant meant for hanging in multiples along a run of worktop. That design sits within a company Murray Feiss founded in 1955, a small lighting business in the South Bronx built around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases, the shades hand sewn by his mother Rose. Three generations of family ownership turned that beginning into one of America's best known decorative lighting houses, its catalogue eventually spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall and outdoor lights, and the design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe, adapting each collection to run on 220 to 240V current.
