A pendant that throws its light upward

Unlike the collection's chandeliers, this 4 light pendant is designed to send its light upward rather than down, using the ceiling to bounce a softer, more ambient glow back into the room. It keeps the same traditional silhouette and detailing as the rest of Prospect Park, just arranged around a different light direction.

Satin Nickel and Chrome finish

Sleek Satin Nickel arms are accented with crisp Chrome components, with bands of Chrome at the top and bottom of each cylindrical Opal Etched glass shade. Clear pressed crystal on each stem catches the upward light nicely, adding sparkle to the fitting itself as well as the room.

How it works

This pendant doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add four of your own. As with all pendant fittings, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

Where it works best

Because it lights upward rather than down, it works well in rooms where a softer, more ambient light is wanted, such as a dining room, living room or entrance hall, rather than somewhere needing direct task lighting. It's an indoor fitting, so it belongs in these kinds of spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.

The story behind Feiss

Rose Feiss's needlework is where the Feiss story really begins: in 1955 she was hand sewing shades for the lamp bases her son Murray was wiring from imported European porcelain figurines in the family's South Bronx workshop. Three generations on, that small operation had become one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its output spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, with its heritage now sitting inside Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe, converting designs like this Prospect Park pendant to 220 to 240V electrics. Prospect Park takes a traditional profile and updates it with Chrome banding and pressed crystal for a period uptown look, here in an uplight pendant form.
