A farmhouse fitting in a brighter, cooler finish
The Pickering Lane collection takes its inspiration from the country farmhouse aesthetic of Northern Europe in the early 1900s. This 3 light semi flush fitting gathers three seeded glass shades and candle effect lamps together, adaptable as a semi flush mount or, with added chain links, for higher ceilings.
Polished Nickel finish
The Polished Nickel finish brings a cooler, brighter tone to the farmhouse silhouette, working well where the rest of the room's metalwork is already in a similar cool finish, or where a slightly fresher take on the country look is wanted.
How it works
This fitting doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add three candle style bulbs to your order. It can be used as a semi flush fitting, or extended with additional chain links for higher ceilings. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
Pickering Lane suits farmhouse, country and traditional interiors, working well in kitchens, hallways and landings where a semi flush fitting is needed. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so it isn't suited to bathrooms or anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Three generations of one family took Feiss from a small South Bronx workshop to one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its collections eventually covering chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. It started in 1955 with Murray Feiss wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases, each one finished with a shade his mother Rose sewed by hand. Visual Comfort & Co. now carries the design heritage forward, and Elstead Lighting has represented the brand in the UK and Europe since 2012, converting its ranges to 220 to 240V wiring. Pickering Lane takes its inspiration from the country farmhouse style found across Northern Europe in the early 1900s.
