A gathered farmhouse fitting in a warm brass tone
The Pickering Lane collection draws its design from the country farmhouse aesthetic of Northern Europe in the early 1900s. This 3 light semi flush fitting brings together three seeded glass shades and candle effect lamps, and can be used as a semi flush mount or extended with chain links for a higher ceiling.
Painted Natural Brass finish
The Painted Natural Brass finish gives the fitting a soft, warm tone of its own even before it's switched on, sitting well in a farmhouse kitchen or a more traditional dining room where warmer metal tones are already in play.
How it works
This fitting doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add three candle style bulbs to your order. It is designed to be used as a semi flush fitting, or with added chain links for higher ceilings. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
Pickering Lane suits farmhouse, country and traditional interiors, working well in kitchens, hallways and landings where a semi flush fitting is needed. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so it isn't suited to bathrooms or anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Feiss began life in 1955 as a small South Bronx lighting business, the work of Murray Feiss, who wired imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and had his mother Rose hand sew each shade. The operation stayed in family hands for three generations, growing all the while into one of America's best known decorative lighting names across chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Visual Comfort & Co. now carries that design heritage forward, and Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe since 2012, converting its collections to 220 to 240V. Pickering Lane looks to the country farmhouse style of early 1900s Northern Europe for its design cues.
