The Nori four light chandelier takes a Gothic influenced ironwork frame in dark weathered zinc and softens it with a gentle drape of driftwood grey beads, landing somewhere between the two styles, more transitional than either on its own.

The dark weathered zinc gives the ironwork a slightly worn, textured look rather than a flat black, while the driftwood grey beads add a lighter, more natural texture against it. Together they suit rooms that want some period character without going fully traditional or fully rustic.

How it works

This chandelier hangs from the ceiling and does not come with bulbs, so you'll need to add four to your order, one for each light. As with all ceiling fittings, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

Where it works best

At four lights, it is a good mid sized option for a dining table, a hallway or a bedroom looking for a bit more presence than a simple pendant. It is an indoor fitting, suited to living, dining and hallway spaces.

The story behind Feiss

In a South Bronx workshop in 1955, Murray Feiss began building lamps from imported European porcelain figurines wired into their bases, each one finished with a shade his mother Rose sewed by hand. Across three generations, that workshop grew into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its range eventually covering chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and its design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe, adapting its designs for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Nori brings together a Gothic influenced ironwork frame and a softer drape of driftwood grey beads, a transitional pairing that runs through the whole collection.
