The Maryville nine light chandelier is the biggest fitting in the collection, spreading the same floral inspired bobeches and wood bead strands across nine arms, all finished in a weathered washed grey.

Across nine arms, the softly aged, weathered washed grey finish and the floral shaped bobeches with their trailing wood bead strands read as a proper centrepiece, while keeping the same gentle, French country character as the smaller versions in the range.

How it works

This chandelier hangs from the ceiling and does not come with bulbs, so you'll need to add nine to your order, one for each light. As with all ceiling fittings, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

At nine lights, it is suited to a large dining room, a grand entrance hall or a double height stairwell where a substantial fitting is wanted. It is an indoor fitting, suited to living, dining and hallway spaces.

The story behind Feiss

French country softness runs through Maryville, its floral shaped bobeches and trailing wood bead strands finished in a weathered washed grey rather than sharp, formal metalwork. That gentler design sensibility comes from a company with a much tougher origin story: Murray Feiss building lamps around imported European porcelain figurines in the South Bronx in 1955, his mother Rose sewing the shades by hand to finish them. Three generations on, the family firm had become one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, its heritage now part of Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting its designs for 220 to 240V electrical systems, and here that softness is scaled up to the largest chandelier in the range.
