The Marlena single wall light takes its shape from an oversized door knocker, translating that solid, graphic silhouette into a single wall light for a hallway, living room or bedroom. A solid oval loop frames a clear glass shade, so the bulb itself becomes part of the display rather than being hidden away.

Polished Chrome finish

Polished Chrome gives the oval loop and back plate a bright, reflective shine, a finish that sits well in a contemporary interior or against darker walls where you want the fitting itself to stand out. The clear glass shade keeps the light open and unfiltered.

This fitting doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. As the glass shade is clear, the shape and finish of whichever bulb you choose will be on show, so it's worth picking one you're happy to look at.

The story behind Feiss

Rose Feiss hand sewed the shades for the earliest Feiss lamps, finishing the imported European porcelain figurines her son Murray wired into lamp bases from his small South Bronx workshop, founded in 1955. Three generations on, that workshop had grown into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its range spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and now sitting within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe, adapting collections including Marlena for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Marlena is one of the brand's more graphic, architectural designs, its shape built around an oversized door knocker silhouette, offered in a choice of Antique Bronze or, as here, Polished Chrome.
