The Lucia 6 light chandelier is the biggest fitting in the collection, gathering six lamps' worth of sunflower shaped Bauhinia crystal into one substantial hanging piece. Where the smaller Lucia fittings bring a touch of crystal detail to a room, this one is built to be the room's main event.

Burnished Silver finish

The Burnished Silver finish across a fitting this size has real presence, its soft, slightly aged tone stopping such a large piece from feeling too cold or clinical. It suits a grander scheme, whether that's a formal dining room, a double height hallway or a wide staircase.

How it works

Each of the six lamp positions carries a linen shade with a glass bottom diffuser, and each needs its own bulb, none of which are included, so six will need adding to your order. Given the scale and weight involved, we'd strongly recommend a qualified electrician handles installation of a fitting like this.

This is a statement piece for a large dining room, entrance hall or stairwell with the height and space to give it room to hang properly. It's an indoor fitting throughout, not intended for bathrooms or outdoor use.

The story behind Feiss

Murray Feiss started out in 1955, running a small lighting business from the South Bronx with imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases and shades his mother Rose sewed by hand. Three generations on, that modest beginning had turned into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall and outdoor fittings, and the Feiss design heritage today sits within Visual Comfort & Co. In the UK and Europe, Elstead Lighting has held the licence since 2012, adapting the collections for 220 to 240V systems, among them Lucia, a transitional range built around sunflower shaped Bauhinia crystal set into a Burnished Silver frame, running from flush fittings right up to a chandelier of this size.
