The Lucia 3 light pendant chandelier is the collection's take on a traditional hanging chandelier, with three lamp arms branching from a central column rather than a single cluster of drops. Each arm carries the same sunflower shaped Bauhinia crystal set into the Burnished Silver frame, so the fitting reads as a proper centrepiece rather than a scaled up pendant.

How it works

Each of the three arms holds a linen shade with a glass bottom diffuser, and each takes its own bulb, none of which are included, so you'll want three added to your order. Where it works best

This is a dining table or entrance hall piece first and foremost, hung centrally where its full spread of arms and crystal can be seen. It's an indoor fitting throughout, so it isn't suited to bathrooms or anywhere exposed to the weather.

The story behind Feiss

Murray Feiss founded his lighting business in the South Bronx in 1955, and within a few generations it had become a family run success story, one of America's best known names in decorative chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Its earliest designs were built around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases, the shades hand sewn by Murray's mother, Rose. The Feiss name now sits within Visual Comfort & Co., and since 2012 Elstead Lighting has represented the brand in the UK and Europe, adapting pieces such as this Lucia pendant chandelier to 220 to 240V electrics. Lucia is built around sunflower shaped Bauhinia crystal set into a Burnished Silver frame, a transitional design running from flush fittings through to full chandeliers.
