Feiss Lucia 2 Light Flush Fitting - Burnished Silver

A crystal flush fitting for rooms with less height to play with

The Lucia 2 light flush fitting brings the collection's sunflower shaped Bauhinia crystal detailing to ceilings that are too low for a hanging pendant or chandelier. Two lamps sit close against the ceiling, with the crystal catching and scattering light around the room once switched on, rather than the fitting simply announcing itself as a plain flush disc.

Burnished Silver finish

The frame is finished in Burnished Silver, a softer, slightly aged tone rather than a bright chrome polish, which suits both traditional and more pared back transitional interiors. It reads as a quieter, more textured silver than a mirror finish, so it sits comfortably alongside warmer metals elsewhere in a room.

How it works

Each of the two lamp positions is dressed with a linen shade and finished with a glass bottom diffuser, which softens the light and lets the crystal sparkle rather than glare. This fitting doesn't come with bulbs, so you will need to add two to your order. As with all ceiling fittings, we recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

Where it works best

Being a flush fitting, this is the Lucia option for hallways, landings, bedrooms or any room where ceiling height rules out a pendant. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so it isn't intended for bathrooms or anywhere exposed to the weather.

The story behind Feiss

Behind every early Feiss lamp was Rose, mother of founder Murray Feiss, hand sewing the shades that finished lamp bases built around imported European porcelain figurines, from the South Bronx workshop Murray opened in 1955. Three generations of family ownership later, that workshop had grown into one of America’s best known decorative lighting names, its output ranging across chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and the design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting collections including Lucia for 220 to 240V systems. Lucia itself is built around sunflower shaped Bauhinia crystal set into a Burnished Silver frame, a transitional design that runs from flush fittings through to full chandeliers.
