A three light chandelier scaled for a smaller room
The Feiss Hartsville 3 Light Chandelier takes the same sweeping, farmhouse inspired silhouette as the larger five light version, finished in a soft, distressed Chalk Washed tone with Beachwood detailing, but with three arms rather than five, it suits a more modest space without losing the collection's character.
Chalk washed and beachwood finish
The distressed Chalk Washed finish has a soft, worn texture, and the Beachwood detailing adds a warmer, natural tone against it. Together they suit a traditional dining room or a relaxed, coastal casual scheme just as well as the larger chandelier does.
How it works
Three bulbs sit across the arms of the chandelier, and none are included, so you'll need to add three to your order. This chandelier can also be converted to a semi flush fitting. We recommend a qualified electrician handles the wiring in, particularly for a multi arm fitting like this one.
Where it works best
With three arms, this is suited to a smaller dining table, breakfast nook or hallway, where the full five light version would be too much. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so keep it to living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
The Feiss design heritage now lives on within Visual Comfort & Co., with Elstead Lighting responsible for bringing the designs, this Hartsville chandelier among them, to UK and European homes since 2012 on 220 to 240V wiring. Feiss's roots go back much further, to 1955 and a small South Bronx business started by Murray Feiss, who wired imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases finished with shades his mother, Rose, sewed by hand. Three generations of family ownership later, it had grown into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Hartsville itself borrows its sweeping shape from Colonial era American farmhouses, finished here in a distressed Chalk Washed tone with Beachwood accents for a look suited to both traditional and coastal casual interiors.
