With three lit panels, this is the largest wall mounted lantern in the Galena collection, built for a bigger entrance, a wider porch or a grander front door where the smaller single light lanterns would look underscaled.

Sable finish

The Sable finish has a deep, near black tone that sits quietly behind the seeded glass, letting the scale and texture of this larger fitting do the work rather than the metalwork.

How it works

This fitting does not come with a bulb, so you will need to add some to your order, up to three if you want every panel lit. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician, and that applies especially outdoors, where the fitting needs to be wired and sealed correctly against the weather.

With an IP44 rating, it suits larger porches, grand entrances or either side of a pair of double doors, anywhere that calls for a bigger, more confident fitting than the single light options in the range.

The story behind Feiss

One family, three generations, and a business that started with imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases in the South Bronx in 1955: that's the short version of how Feiss became one of America's best known names in decorative lighting, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Murray Feiss founded it, his mother Rose hand sewed the earliest shades, and today the design heritage lives on within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe, adapting its collections, Galena among them, for 220 to 240V wiring. Galena itself takes a pared back approach to the outdoor lantern, built around clean lines and seeded glass rather than heavier ironwork or period detailing.
