A semi flush fitting that sits just proud of the ceiling
The Feiss Fusion 3 Light Semi-Flush Mount uses the same circular ceiling plate, outer rods and ribbed opal glass frame as the rest of the Fusion range, but drops a little further than the flush version, giving the banded glass a touch more presence without hanging as a full pendant.
Painted natural brass finish
In Painted Natural Brass, the metalwork has a warm, understated glow, and the small extra drop of the semi flush design means the ribbed opal glass and glass diffuser catch the light from a few more angles than the flush version. It suits both traditional and contemporary rooms.
How it works
Three bulbs sit behind the ribbed opal glass, and none are included, so you will need to add three to your order. As with all our lighting, we recommend a qualified electrician handles the wiring in, particularly for a multi bulb ceiling fitting like this one.
Where it works best
The slight extra drop of a semi flush fitting suits a room with standard to slightly higher ceilings, where a fully flush fitting might look too flat but a full pendant would hang too low. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so keep it to living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Few American lighting brands can claim three generations of family ownership, but Feiss can: what Murray Feiss began in 1955 as a small South Bronx operation, wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and having his mother Rose hand sew the shades, grew steadily into one of the country's best known names in chandeliers, pendants, wall and outdoor lighting. That heritage is now carried forward by Visual Comfort & Co., with Elstead Lighting handling the UK and European side since 2012, adapting the designs, including this Fusion semi-flush, to 220 to 240V wiring. The Fusion collection borrows from the Arts & Crafts movement, its vertical and horizontal brass banding designed to work in both period and modern interiors.
