A hanging pendant that puts Fusion's banding centre stage
The Feiss Fusion 3 Light Pendant hangs the collection's Arts and Crafts banding from a ceiling plate and rods, with Amber Ribbed glass shades and a matching diffuser sitting at the centre of the frame. Unlike the flush and semi flush versions, this one is built to drop, so the banding and glass become a genuine focal point.
Grecian bronze finish
In Grecian Bronze, the linear banding has a deep, aged tone that plays off the warm amber tint of the ribbed glass, and the extra drop of this pendant lets that contrast read clearly from across the room. It suits a traditional dining room or a period property looking to keep that character overhead.
How it works
Three bulbs sit behind the Amber Ribbed glass, and none are included, so you will need to add three to your order. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician, particularly for a multi bulb pendant like this one.
Where it works best
With its generous drop, this pendant suits a room with the ceiling height to spare, hung over a dining table or in a hallway or stairwell with extra headroom. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so keep it away from anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe, adapting the brand's collections, Fusion included, for 220 to 240V electrical systems, part of a design heritage now held by Visual Comfort & Co. That heritage began in 1955, when Murray Feiss opened a small lighting business in the South Bronx, New York, built around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases and shades his mother, Rose, hand sewed. Three generations of the same family grew the business into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Fusion draws on Arts & Crafts styling throughout the range, its vertical and horizontal linear banding suited to both traditional and modern rooms, hung here as a pendant in Grecian Bronze.
