A flush ceiling fitting with Arts and Crafts banding and a soft brass glow
The Feiss Fusion 3 Light Flush Mount sits close against the ceiling, built around a circular ceiling plate and a set of outer rods that hold a circular frame in place. Ribbed opal glass wraps the sides of the frame and a glass diffuser sits at the base, so the three bulbs inside stay hidden and only their soft, even light comes through.
Painted natural brass finish
In Painted Natural Brass, the metalwork has a warm, understated glow rather than a high shine, and it sits well against the pale, frosted look of the ribbed opal glass. Because the design keeps a low profile, it suits both a traditional room with cornicing and picture rails and a more contemporary, pared back scheme.
How it works
Three bulbs sit behind the ribbed opal glass, and none are included, so you will need to add three to your order. As with all our lighting, we recommend a qualified electrician handles the wiring in, particularly for a multi bulb ceiling fitting like this one.
Where it works best
Because it sits flush to the ceiling, this is the fitting to reach for in a room with lower ceilings, or in a hallway, landing or bedroom where a hanging pendant would sit too low. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so keep it to living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Rose Feiss sewed the shades by hand for the very first lamps her son Murray built in the South Bronx back in 1955, wiring imported European porcelain figurines into their bases to launch what became the Feiss name. Over three generations, that workshop grew into one of America's best known decorative lighting houses, its output eventually spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, with the design heritage now held within Visual Comfort & Co. In the UK and Europe, Feiss designs including Fusion have been represented by Elstead Lighting since 2012, adapted for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Fusion itself draws on Arts & Crafts styling, its vertical and horizontal linear banding designed to sit comfortably in both traditional and modern rooms.
