A flush ceiling fitting in a deep, traditional bronze
The Feiss Fusion 3 Light Flush Fitting sits close against the ceiling, its Arts and Crafts linear banding wrapped around Amber Ribbed glass shades and a matching diffuser, so the light is softened and scattered rather than shining directly down.
Grecian bronze finish
In Grecian Bronze, the banding has a deep, aged tone that contrasts strongly with the warm amber tint of the ribbed glass, giving it a more traditional feel than the brass finished Fusion pieces. Because the design keeps a low profile, it's a good option for a room with lower ceilings.
How it works
Three bulbs sit behind the Amber Ribbed glass, and none are included, so you will need to add three to your order. Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting should be installed by a registered NICEIC electrician, particularly for a multi bulb ceiling fitting like this one.
Where it works best
Because it sits flush to the ceiling, this is the fitting to reach for in a hallway, landing or bedroom with lower ceilings, where a pendant would hang too low. It is an indoor fitting throughout, so keep it to living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Three generations of one family took the Feiss name from a single small business to one of America's best known decorative lighting brands, its range eventually spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. That business began in 1955, when Murray Feiss set up in the South Bronx, New York, wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and having his mother, Rose, hand sew the shades. The Feiss design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co., and Elstead Lighting has represented the brand across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting collections including Fusion for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Fusion draws on Arts & Crafts styling, its vertical and horizontal linear banding designed to sit comfortably in both traditional and modern rooms, here sitting flush to the ceiling in Grecian Bronze.
