A three light flush fitting with a softer, rounded profile
The Drawing Room rounded 3 light flush fitting sits tight against the ceiling and brings three rounded pressed glass bowls together around a central fitting point, each held in a die-cast aluminium fitter. It gives more light output than the two light flush versions in the range while keeping the same fretwork ironwork and rounded glass profile that runs through the collection.
Walnut finish
The Walnut finish brings a deep, warm brown tone to the ironwork, and with three bowls grouped together the fitting reads as a genuine centrepiece even without any drop from the ceiling, suiting rooms where a hanging chandelier isn't practical.
How it works
Three bulbs are needed, none included, so you will want to add three to your order. As a flush fitting it sits close to the ceiling, which suits rooms with limited height, though a qualified electrician should still confirm the fixing point before installation.
Where it works best
This works well as a main ceiling light in bedrooms, home offices or smaller living rooms where you want good light levels but don't have the ceiling height for a chandelier. It is intended for indoor use only.
The story behind Feiss
Behind every Feiss shade sits a very literal piece of family history: Rose Feiss, mother of founder Murray, hand sewed the shades that finished the imported European porcelain lamp bases his fledgling South Bronx business began wiring up in 1955. That small operation grew, across three generations, into one of America's most recognised names in decorative lighting, covering everything from chandeliers and pendants to wall and outdoor fittings. Today the Feiss design heritage sits within Visual Comfort & Co., while Elstead Lighting has represented the brand across the UK and Europe since 2012, converting designs to 220 to 240V wiring, this Drawing Room piece among them. Drawing Room itself revives the ironwork language of the Edwardian era, its pressed glass bowls, die-cast fitters and fretwork detail all rooted in British architecture of the period.
