The Drawing Room rounded 2 light semi-flush fitting sits close to the ceiling on a short drop, making it a practical option where a full chandelier would hang too low. The two pressed glass bowls have a softly rounded profile, held in die-cast aluminium fitters, with fretwork detailing across the ironwork that ties it back to traditional British architectural themes.
Walnut finish
Finished in Walnut, the ironwork has a warm, dark brown tone that suits panelled ceilings, exposed beams and other period detailing, and the rounded glass softens the light rather than casting it in hard lines, useful in a room used for relaxing rather than close work.
How it works
The fitting takes two bulbs, which are not included, so you will want to add a pair to your order. Because it sits semi-flush rather than fully flush, there is a small amount of clearance built in, though a qualified electrician should still confirm it suits your ceiling height and fixing point before installation.

This is a good option for bedrooms, landings and smaller sitting rooms where ceiling height is limited but you still want the character of a period style fitting rather than a plain flush light. It is intended for indoor use only.
The story behind Feiss
What Murray Feiss started alone in the South Bronx in 1955 didn't stay small for long. Working with imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases and shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose, he laid the groundwork for a family business that, across three generations, grew into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. That heritage now continues within Visual Comfort & Co., and Elstead Lighting has handled the UK and European side since 2012, adapting collections such as Drawing Room for 220 to 240V systems. Drawing Room draws on an Edwardian ironwork tradition, its pressed glass bowls, die-cast fitters and fretwork detail rooted in British architecture of the period.
