The DeWitt single wall light takes its shape from French Provincial design tradition, a simple and elegantly proportioned silhouette that suits both classic and softly updated interiors. Feiss uses an innovative technique on the DeWitt collection, painting clear teardrop crystals on one side with the matching Sunrise Silver finish. The colour shines through the crystal, so the drops read as part of the fitting rather than a separate decoration, tying the whole piece together.
How it works
This fitting does not come with a bulb, so you will need to add one to your order. As with any hardwired wall light, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

The story behind Feiss
From a single South Bronx workshop in 1955 to one of America's best known decorative lighting names, Feiss's growth across three generations took in chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings alike. Founder Murray Feiss built his first lamps around imported European porcelain figurines, with his mother Rose hand sewing every shade, and that heritage now lives on within Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting collections including DeWitt for 220 to 240V electrical systems. DeWitt itself draws on French Provincial design tradition, though it's updated here with a gilded Sunrise Silver finish and hand painted crystal detail rather than a plain period reproduction.
