The Cotswold Lane 3 light large post is the tallest freestanding fitting in the collection, built to stand at full lamp post height rather than sitting on a low plinth like the pedestals and pillar. With three lamps and the same architectural moulding over clear bevelled glass as the rest of the range, it makes a strong statement at the entrance to a driveway.

The black finish gives this post the same formal, traditional character as the rest of the Cotswold Lane collection, and the clear bevelled glass adds sparkle across its three lamps. Its height sets it apart from the pedestal and pillar versions, giving it more presence from a distance.

How it works

This lamp post doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add three to your order. As it's a tall outdoor fitting typically wired below ground, we'd recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation, including running a suitably protected cable to the base and setting the post securely.

With an IP44 rated, weatherproof build, it's designed for outdoor use at the entrance to a driveway or a larger garden. Its height makes it a natural choice for marking a gateway or driveway entrance from a distance, rather than lining a path at close range.

The story behind Feiss

Long before Feiss became a fixture in American decorative lighting, Murray Feiss was assembling lamps from imported European porcelain figurines in a small South Bronx workshop, with his mother Rose hand sewing every shade that topped them. That was 1955; three generations later, the business he started had grown into one of the country's best known names in chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and today the Feiss design heritage lives on within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has brought those designs to the UK and Europe, rewiring them for 220 to 240V use, this Cotswold Lane post among them, its architectural moulding and bevelled glass panes recalling the antique gas lanterns that inspired the collection's more formal, traditional look.
