The Cotswold Lane 3 light large pedestal is the biggest freestanding fitting in the collection, with three lamps set above architectural moulding and clear bevelled glass panes. Designed to sit on a plinth, it suits a longer driveway or a more generous garden entrance than the medium pedestal.

The black finish gives it the same formal, traditional look as the rest of the Cotswold Lane range, scaled up to suit its larger size, and the clear bevelled glass adds sparkle across its three lamps. As a freestanding fitting, it works as much as a garden feature as a functional light.

How it works

This pedestal doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add three to your order. As it's an outdoor fitting typically wired below ground, we'd recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation, including running a suitably protected cable to the base.

With an IP44 rated, weatherproof build, it's designed for outdoor use along paths, driveways and garden entrances. Its larger scale suits a longer driveway, a grander gateway, or spacing at wider intervals along a garden path.

The story behind Feiss

Antique gas lanterns gave Cotswold Lane its architectural moulding and bevelled glass panes, a formal, traditional character set apart from some of Feiss's plainer outdoor ranges. The brand behind that reference began far more simply, in a South Bronx workshop in 1955, where Murray Feiss wired imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and his mother Rose hand sewed the shades to finish them. Three generations on, that workshop had grown into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, its heritage now part of Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting its designs for 220 to 240V electrical systems.
