The Cotswold Lane 2 light flush fitting is designed to sit close against a porch ceiling rather than projecting from a wall, making it a good option where headroom is limited or where a hanging lantern isn't practical. It carries the same antique gas lantern character as the rest of the collection, with architectural moulding over clear bevelled glass.

How it works

This fitting doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add two to your order. As it's an outdoor ceiling fitting, we'd recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation and makes sure the ceiling entry point is properly weathersealed.

The story behind Feiss

Feiss designs have been sold in the UK since 2012 through Elstead Lighting, which adapts the American brand's lighting to 220 to 240V electrics, this Cotswold Lane flush fitting included. The brand itself dates back much further, to 1955, when Murray Feiss started out in the South Bronx wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and having his mother Rose hand sew the shades. Three generations on, that small operation had become one of America's best known names in decorative lighting, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall and outdoor fittings, and the Feiss design heritage today sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Cotswold Lane's architectural moulding and bevelled glass panes take their cue from the antique gas lanterns of an earlier era, giving it a more formal, traditional character than Feiss's plainer outdoor collections.
