The full scale orb, built for a room that can take it
The Corinne large pendant doubles up on the collection's floating candle design, with six candle style lights fixed to a central hub inside a larger orb frame. It's the biggest piece in the Corinne family, and reads as a genuine centrepiece rather than a supporting fitting.
Polished Nickel with Inlay Crystal detail
The Inlay Crystal detail lining the orb's inner surfaces has more surface area to work with at this size, so the sparkle is more pronounced when the fitting is lit. The Polished Nickel finish, hub and ceiling canopy all share the same architectural styling as the smaller pendants in the collection, just scaled up to match.
How it works
This fitting takes six bulbs, and none are included, so you'll need to add six candle style bulbs to your order. Given the size and weight of a fitting like this, we'd strongly recommend a qualified electrician for the installation, and checking that the ceiling can support it.
Where it works best
This is a dining room or entrance hall centrepiece, best suited to a room with good ceiling height and space around the table or floor below. It's an indoor fitting throughout, so it's suited to living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Feiss’s design heritage today sits within Visual Comfort & Co., with Elstead Lighting responsible for bringing collections such as Corinne to the UK and Europe, adapted for 220 to 240V electrics since 2012. The name itself dates to 1955, when Murray Feiss set up shop in the South Bronx around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases, the shades for each hand sewn by his mother, Rose. Three generations on, that modest workshop had become one of America’s best known decorative lighting brands, covering chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Corinne’s own signature is a modern orb silhouette with an Inlay Crystal detail, its central hub lending the candle lights an illusion of floating in place — shown here at its largest, in a six light form.
