How it works
This fitting does not come with bulbs, so you will need to add your own. Feiss designed Bluffton around antique style bulbs to complete the warm, inviting look, so those are worth seeking out. To make sure your fitting arrives in perfect condition, it comes with some simple assembly to complete before installation, and we would recommend a qualified electrician for the wiring itself.

The story behind Feiss
Today, Feiss sits within the Visual Comfort & Co. group, its designs brought to the UK and Europe by Elstead Lighting, which has adapted the range for 220 to 240V electrical systems since 2012. Getting to that point took three generations of the same family, starting when Murray Feiss opened a small lighting business in the South Bronx, New York in 1955, built around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases and finished with shades his mother, Rose, sewed by hand. From there the business grew into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Bluffton, among the newer additions, takes its cue from rustic, fireside lantern styling, built around a perforated screen shade and exposed hook detail rather than anything from that original 1955 workshop.
