A medium sized retro pendant with a darker finish
Beso takes its cue from 1970s pendant design, spun from steel into a simple, rounded shade and painted white on the inside to help the light spread evenly. This is the medium size, finished in a deep Dark Bronze that gives it a bit more visual weight than the smaller mini version.

The Dark Bronze exterior contrasts against the white painted interior, creating a strong halo of light when lit, while the matt dark tone keeps the fitting looking grounded rather than shiny.
How it works
This pendant doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. It is supplied with ample cable, so it can be hung in both high and low ceiling situations, adjusted to suit the space. We recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
Beso is designed for bars, restaurants, kitchens and serveries looking for a contemporary look, and works just as well at home over a kitchen island, breakfast bar or dining table, especially when grouped together. It is an indoor fitting throughout.
The story behind Feiss
The earliest Feiss lighting was built around a specific idea: imported European porcelain figurines, wired into lamp bases by Murray Feiss himself, working from a small business he opened in the South Bronx, New York, in 1955, with shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose. Three generations later, that idea had grown into one of America's best known names in decorative lighting, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Today the Feiss design heritage sits within Visual Comfort & Co., and Elstead Lighting has represented the brand in the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting collections including Beso for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Beso itself has nothing to do with porcelain figurines, drawing instead on 1970s pendant design, its spun steel shade reworked here for bars, restaurants and contemporary kitchens.
